For all pastoral musicians in and near the Archdiocese of Chicago.

We are the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. Encompassing the Archdiocese of Chicago and its 315 parishes, we serve as musicians, liturgists, and clergy for over two million Catholics.

NPM Chicago was inaugurated in 2015 with the support of many longstanding and new NPM members, and with the generous support of major publishing houses—World Library Publications (now a division of GIA), GIA Publications, and Liturgy Training Publications.

We strive to improve the musical and pastoral skills of our members, providing educational events on issues affecting musical and liturgical practice in the Church for musicians, clergy, liturgists, and other leaders of prayer.

We encourage network and support through social interaction.

Why NPM?

The National Association of Pastoral Musicians is a national association centered on supporting pastoral musicians, clergy, and liturgists in the Catholic Church today.

NPM National offers an annual convention, webinars, educational publications, and both local and national networking opportunities, for musicians at all skill levels.

  • Your national NPM membership grants you membership to NPM Chicago.

  • No! All are welcome, regardless of membership status or denomination served.

  • Great! Send us an email at info@npmchicago.org and we’ll start the conversation.
