A message from our new Chapter Director

Dear NPM Chicago Membership and Friends,

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the next Chapter Director of NPM Chicago.

As a member of NPM Chicago since its founding in 2015 and as the Communications Coordinator since 2016, I’ve been fortunate to be a part of this incredible chapter of pastoral musicians. It is an honor to work alongside you to bring new programming and social events to our chapter.

Please join me in thanking Keith Kalemba, our previous Chapter Director, for his leadership over the past five years, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keith will move into the role of Immediate Past Director, providing advice and guidance to the chapter.

In taking on this new role within our chapter, I’m committed to communicating with you on a regular basis through monthly newsletters and social media (follow us on Facebook and Instagram!) for NPM Chicago-related events, as well as news from our local community and NPM National. It’s vital to keep the communication open so we are able to provide programming and information that’s relevant, as well as gather together to celebrate. And, you are always welcome to email me at mike@northbrookcatholic.church.

As we develop our programming for the 2023-2024 season, the chapter and I are committed to building stronger relationships with partner organizations in Chicago and the suburbs—stay tuned for more information.

—Mike
