Introducing the NPM Chicago
Pastoral Musician of the Year
At this year's Annual Banquet, we would like to award the first ever NPM Chicago Pastoral Musician of the Year. As the board, our hope is that this will awarded each spring at the Annual Banquet.
The NPM Chicago board has voted on and offers the following criteria for the NPM Chicago Pastoral Musician of the Year Award:
The NPM Chicago Pastoral Musician of the Year will be awarded to a pastoral musician who exemplifies the best of NPM Chicago. The honoree will be someone who has given substantial witness or promotion to the role of pastoral music in parish, diocesan, or institutional life.
Current NPM Chicago Board Members are not eligible. (To view those on the current board visit: https://bit.ly/2UBqoEQ)
The honoree must be a member in good standing with NPM Chicago. This will be verified by Communications/Membership Coordinator.
The honoree must be currently employed or retired from work in the Archdiocese.
The honoree will be nominated by the members of NPM Chicago and elected by the board.
